School Uniform Starting a new school means getting a new school uniform. We hope you will take pride in wearing it and will look after it well. Here are some things to remember about school uniform! Make sure everything is very clearly marked with your name. This is very important. If your belongings aren't named we can't help find them if they get lost. You must wear your proper school uniform at all times. The school blazer is to be worn at all times. If, for some reason, you can't wear part of your uniform to school, bring a note from your parent/guardian to explain the problem. Only the school scarf may be worn. Outdoor coats are not to be worn in the classroom or assembly hall. Items not permitted in school are necklaces, bracelets, brooches, ear-rings, nose or eye brow studs, or any other piercings, as they can be dangerous when you are working at machines or doing P.E. A watch and one signet ring may be worn.
The school will not be responsible for any rings or jewellery brought to school by pupils.

The following items are not to be worn

Boots, slouch socks, platform shoes, high block shoes, trainers, jeans, sweatshirts or bright coloured sweaters. Coloured anoraks and coats with logos or writing.
