We seek at all times to deliver the curriculum to all levels of ability at KS3 and when there is sufficient interest, G.C.S.E at KS4 using the Northern Ireland syllabus which is available on the CCEA website.
Years 8, 9 and 10 receive one session of music per week in the classroom and all year groups have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities.
KS3 All pupils have the opportunity to perform, listen and compose. To facilitate this we offer a range of resources including tuned and untuned percussion, recorders, keyboards, hand chimes and drum-kit. Pupils have access to the use of Sibelius to produce professional copies of printed music.
Extra Curricular Activities include:
Choir

We are privileged to have the services of three very talented and experienced instrumental tutors who come into school on a weekly basis.
All extra-curricular groups are given the opportunity to perform at various events in the life of the school including Prize Day, Christmas Carol Evening and Spring Concert. They also share their talents with the local community entertaining at various locations and Care Homes.
